1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the APS Academy learning platform at learning.apseguru.com and the APS Academy mobile and desktop applications (the "Platform"), operated by the Academy for Professional Studies ("APS"), Kannur. By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Accounts
- Accounts are issued to enrolled students (and, where enabled, their parents/guardians). Your login is personal and must not be shared.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at info@theaps.in if you suspect unauthorised use.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
3. Courses, fees and access
- Access to a course is granted for the duration stated at enrolment or in your fee schedule. Access may be paused if fee instalments are overdue, and restored when payment is received.
- Fees, refunds and instalment terms are as set out in your admission documents and APS's fee policy. Unless stated otherwise in writing, fees are non-refundable once classes have commenced.
- Batch schedules, faculty and course content may change; we will notify you of material changes.
4. Intellectual property and content protection
All videos, live classes, recordings, notes, question banks, mock exams and other materials on the Platform are the property of APS or its licensors and are provided for your personal study only. You must not:
- record, screenshot, download (other than where a download button is provided), copy, share, resell or publish any course content;
- share your login, or let anyone else watch classes through your account;
- use any tool to bypass the Platform's protection features.
Content is watermarked with your identity, and capture attempts are logged. Breach of this section may result in immediate termination of access without refund and may be pursued under applicable copyright law.
5. Live classes and community conduct
When participating in live classes, chat or discussion forums you agree to be respectful to faculty and fellow students, not to post unlawful, abusive or misleading content, and not to disrupt classes. APS may remove content or participants that breach this.
6. Mobile application
- The APS Academy app is a companion to your APS enrolment. It is provided free of charge to enrolled students; course fees are paid to APS directly and no purchases are made inside the app.
- The app requires network access; data charges from your carrier may apply. Some features (live classes) require camera and microphone permission, which you may decline.
- Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no responsibility for the app or its content.
7. Certificates and results
Certificates issued through the Platform confirm completion of APS internal courses or assessments. They are not certifications of any external body (IMA, ACCA, ICMAI, etc.), whose examinations and credentials are governed by those bodies.
8. Availability and disclaimer
We aim to keep the Platform available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Course content is provided for educational purposes; while prepared with care, APS does not guarantee examination outcomes.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, APS's liability arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the fees you paid for the relevant course in the preceding twelve months. APS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
10. Privacy
Your personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; the effective date shows the current version. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kannur, Kerala have jurisdiction over any dispute.
